一、教学目标

1知识目标:1)New words : post, office, post office, police, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital, street, pay, near, across, across from, front, in front of, behind, town, around 2)Sentences:① —Is there a hospital near here?

—Yes, there is. ② The pay phone is across from the library. ③ The pay phone is between the post office and the library. 2.能力目标: Learn how to ask for and give directions on the street by oral and listening practice using the target language .

3.情感态度价值观:To train the methods of the Ss to help others and be kind to others. 二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点:学习问路与指路的常用语, 学会询问街道上某一场所的位置,阐述如何到达某一场所。

①Where 引导的特殊疑问句。

②there be 句型的肯定式、一般疑问句及其回答方式。

③方位介词的用法。

2.教学难点:学生运用正确的方位介词来描述各种社区设施的地理位置。

三、学情分析

因为是与生活相关的各种社区设施和街区环境,他们很有兴趣,并且有较强的求知欲和表现欲。但是由于缺少丰富的语言基础,对某些任务的完成有一定的难度，大多学生存在不自信,羞于表现等思想顾虑。

四、教学过程

1.Lead-in 1)视频导入。通过视频播放让学生回答关于方位介词的两个问题。引出要学习的方位介词。

2)通过询问Mr.Monkey 的位置来练习方位介词。

3)教师提问学生的位置，学生回答来操练方位介词。

2. Presentation New words 1）

show the pictures and teach the new words:

library, restaurant,

post office, park, bank, supermarket,

pay phone, S: Listen to the teacher and read after the teacher. Pairwork : Where is ….? It’s …. 2）

Look at a map of our neighbourhood . Describe the proposition of the places and lead in “there be”.用学校周围的卫星地图让学生操练句型，在真实的语境中练习，真正达到语言的运用目的。

Teach “There be”

句型，陈述句，否定句，疑问句。学生根据句型做练习，巩固知识。同时，把方位介词和there be句型结合到一起。

3.Practice Work with the partners according to the pictures. 4.Listening. Finish 2b. 5.Work in groups. 根据老师提供的情景，完成任务。

6.课堂检测。
