五、教学步骤

Step1 Warming up 1. Greetings. T: Hello, everybody. I’m Miss Xia. You can call me Miss Xia. Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning , Miss Xia. T: Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too! T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And you? T: I’m fine too. 2. Do some warming-up. 3. Quick response. T: What’s the number? 学生看课件中出现的数字，抢答：“It’s 9/13/18……”

Step2 Presentation and drill 1、通过竞争机制，引入新句型：

T: Let’s see which group is the winner now. How many apples are there? Please count the apples. Ss: One, two, three…

T引导学生回答完整，并板书重点句型。

2、T （挥动“魔法棒”—一捆钢笔），Hello, everyone! I’m a magician. I have a lot of pens /rulers/…in my hand. How many pens/rulers/… are there? Please guess! If you are right, an apple is for your group. 若学生猜对了数量，教师给其所在的小组贴一个苹果。

3、板书并教学：How many … are there?

Step4 Consolidation 1、创设情景，自由会话。

情景：通过课件的图片引出云南盈江地震，让同学们拿出自己捐献的学习用具。在上交之先完成一个任务，以小组为单位用“How many …… are there?”“There are……

”句型来统计各类文具数目，并把结果填在所发表格中，组长把数目填到前面的总表格中，然后全班一起统计总数。

2、对学生进行德育情感教育。

3、评价。对学生在活动中的表现给予肯定和鼓励，提高学生学习英语的兴趣。

4、作业。

回家后用“How many …… are there?” “There are……

”句型统计家里部分物品的数目。
