Listen to a song. T: What do you think of the song? Do you like listening to music? Can we listen to music in the classroom? Today we’re going to talk about rules.

2.Presentation （呈现新知识）

(1) Present the new words,show some pictures of the new words on the screen.

Have students read these words: classroom, hallway, dining room, fight, arrive,sorry,rule,listen. (2) Show some pictures of different activities that are happening in the school.

Help students understand the school rules.

T: Can we arrive late for class?

Don’t arrive late for class./Don’t be late for class.

T: Can we run in the hallways?

3. Drill (练习) Show some the pictures and ask students like this: T: What are the rules? S: Don’t …

4.Memory challenge: Which rules are the students breaking?

Ask students to look at the pictures and give them 1 minute to remember, then have students say “Don’t....”

5. Work on 1a

(1) Ask students to look at the picture on the screen and ask: Are the good students? What rules are these students breaking? Talk about the picture with students using the target language.

(2)Do 1a. Write the number of the rule next to the student.
