Problems and situations Step 1 Warming-up and Leading-in 1. Greet the whole class as usual. 2. Play a video of “A bite of China” and ask students what food they can see in the video. Step 2 Presentation 1. Show some pictures to teach the new words and the key sentences. 2. Let students look at the pictures and ask them to match the words with the foods in 1a. 3. Show some pictures about the specials, and ask the students what kind of noodles they would like. Then guide students to learn the size of noodles. Step 3 Listening

1. Guide students to listen and check the noodles that the person orders in 1b. 2. Play the recording the first time. Ask students to put checkmark next to each food mentioned in the tape. 3. Play the recording the second time and ask Students’ activities
