Grammar：The Present Continuous Tense

一、教材分析

本节课围绕着一个话题“谈论现在正在进行或发生的动作”来展开教学活动，主要的教学内容是现在进行时。本节课紧扣教材，而又脱离课本，重新对教材进行编排。先通过描绘图片中人们的活动来学习词汇: doing homework, watching TV, cleaning, reading, eating dinner, talking on the phone……并通过问答“人们正在做什么”来学习句型：What are you doing？

I’m watching TV .

并用同桌合作的方式进一步加强句型的操练。然后通过听力训练和写作训练来加强练习和巩固。

二、学生分析

本节课的对象是七年级的学生，这阶段的学生比八、九年级学生更活泼、天真，对新事物有很高的激情，针对这样的学生，要全面激发他们的学习兴趣，很适合采用多媒体等信息化手段充分调动他们的学习积极性，得到一个很好的教学效果。另外学生已经有半年多的英语基础，有了自己的英语学习习惯和方法，我们可以充分调动他们的积极性，并且适当帮助他们调整学习方法中的不妥之处。

三、教学目标

1掌握并运用描述人物活动和地点的词汇：watching eating cleaning reading swimming shopping等; 2掌握并运用简单的英语交际句型：What are you doing? I am watching TV. What is he doing? He is doing homework. (3)通过本课的学习，让学生们懂得除了学习以外，要更好的利用业余时间参加通过活动来放松自己的身心，让自己身心健康成长,树立正确的人生观、世界观和价值观，增强社会责任感，全面提高人文素养。

现在进行时是表示现在(说话瞬间）正在进行或发生的动作。也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
