一、教学目标：（Teaching goals）

1、知识目标：能够听、说、认读本课的动物单词和形容词，zoo, animal, tiger, elephant, koala, panda, lion, giraffe; smart, cute, fun, friendly,lazy, shy, beautiful 和kind of.

2、能力目标：能够利用句型what animals do you like?/I like …

/Why do you like lions?/Because they’re cute/interesting…进行简单的交际，谈论对动物的喜好及其原因；并且能在各种活动中学会使用形容词来描述动物。

关键词why, what, because等。

3、情感目标：激发学生学习英语的兴趣，实现自主学习；培养学生关爱、保护动物的意识。

二、教学重点：(Teaching important)

1、掌握常用动物单词和形容词的读音和书写。

2、能熟练运用句型“Why do you like ...s? Because they’re ...”谈论对动物的喜好及原因；能用形容词说出简单的描述动物的句子。

四、教学方法：(Teaching methods)

1、情景交际教学法：创设生活化的真实情境，引导学生在运用中学习语言，然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言。

2、任务型教学法：设计多种任务活动和游戏，提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间，进行探究学习。

3、尝试教学法：通过学生自学和小组互助学习进行尝试教学，让学生在尝试中学习，在尝试中体验成功。

Think of an animals.Ask and answer questions with your partner to guess each other’s animal.Give a dialogue sample like this:

B: It’s a panda!

A: Yes,you’re right.

请几位同学到讲堂前操练该句型，全班同学集体参与。

2、Group work.(小组活动)

小组分配任务，至少介绍一样动物，尽量多的用英语写句子，可以从动物的外貌特征，生活习性等方面介绍。最后小组抽代表到讲台做汇报，注意不能说出动物名称，调动学生的注意力来猜测。
