教学内容分析

本单元以The neighborhood为话题，在学习地点名词、方位词、指引方向的短语等词汇的基础上，能掌握问路与指路的交际用语，通过教学使学生在日常生活中能得体地运用英语向别人问路或指路。通过运用简单的问路和指路的交际用语，帮助学生树立自信心，学会相互合作，敢于用英语进行交际，同时也培养学生乐于助人的品质。

教材所预设的目的是让学生在听说训练、口语交际的同时，在特定情景中语言运用能力也得到提升。本节课是本单元的第二课时，是一节听说整合课。

学生情况分析

学生已有知识水平：上节课学习了有关地点、位置的单词，there be及where句型询问某地是否有某物。本课在谈论问路及指路这一话题时，可以再现使用，便于理解体验新句型。

学生的学***面识图的能力还不够好；学生把所学运用到日常生活中，还需要基于大量的语言操练。

教学目标

在本节课结束时,学生能够: 1.借助周边环境的示意图，通过问答的方式掌握下列有关指引方向的短语：go along, turn left/ right，at the … crossing, on the left/ right, in front of, behind, next to, across from, between...and ...；并能把它们灵活地运用于there be句型、where引导的特殊疑问句的问答中，用以询问及回答某事物的所在位置。

2. 通过师生会话、同伴交流、听说训练、小组展示，使学生在真实的语境中感知、体验问路的技巧，并能在日常交际中得体地向他人问路及指路。e.g. A: Excuse me. Is there a … near here? B: Yes, there is. Go along … Street. Turn right/ left at the first crossing and it’s on your left/right, across from/ next to/behind/ in front of/ between…and… . A: Thanks so much. B: No problem. 教学重、难点及突破措施

教学重点：在熟练掌握有关指路短语的拼读、运用的基础上，能够在语言操练中正确使用，并能结合实际生活问路及为他人指路。

突破措施：通过创设真实的语境，在丰富的文本、平面示意图、声音等媒介中让学生充分感知语言，通过师生互动猜迷活动、看示意图编对话、听力、情景会话、绘制平面示意图并讲解等大量的贴近学生生活实际的语言操练中引导学生大量输出语言，在同伴交流中进一步应用目标语言。

教学难点:问路及指路在生活中的恰当应用。

突破措施：设计开放性的实践活动，通过小组前期准备、实地考察、设计行走路线再到课上的讲

解等活动，让语言学习贴近生活实际，激发学生兴趣，学以致用。
