1. Describe people’s looks: -What does she/he look like? -She/He has…hair/mouth/ears/eyes/nose.

2. be 与have/has 3. 长短+形状+颜色+hair 4. 选择问句(Alternative Questions). Teaching steps: Step One:

Greetings. Step Two: Show the language points. Step Three: Show some pictures to review how to describe the people’s looks.(height/build/face/eyes/mouth/nose/ears/wear…) And show the mind map to help the students to renmember. Step 4: Pair work A: What dose… look like? B: She/He has…./ She/He is …/She/He wears.. Step Five: The differences between “be” and “have/has”

Do some exercises to point out when should we use “be”

and “have/has” to describe people’s looks.

Step Six: Learn more Show the pictures to point out more words about describing people. Step Seven: Guessing games The students look at the pictures and listen to the teacher carefully, then guess who is the teacher’s favorite actor/player. Step Eight: Exercises Do some multiple choices and translations to make the students how to describe people’s looks. From words to sentences, let them understand the main points. Step Nine: Writing.

Write a composition about favorite actor/actress/singer/player. Step Ten: Sharing

Ask some students to read out their compositions.

Step Eleven: Summary

Homework:

1. Copy the words.
