教材分析

本课是人教版七年级下册第八单元第一课时的教学内容，是一节听说课。教学重点主要围绕问路和指路，以及描述建筑物间的空间位置关系展开交际活动。学习的词汇主要是生活场所中各个建筑物的名称，并进一步掌握方位介词等；语法为用介词描述位置；句型是Is there...？等。内容贴近学生生活，所含功能句都是日常用语，因此，课堂任务应侧重培养学生的语言实践能力，尤其注重语音语调实际运用能力的培养。通过本课的学习，学生要学会阐述某一场所中各个建筑物的位置之间的关系，同时能够利用地图或图片向他人介绍自己所居住的社区，并能够识别简单的路线图，培养学生在实际生活中辨别方向的能力，以及爱护社区环境的意识。

学情分析

对于学生来说，他们上学期已经掌握并能运用where引导的特殊疑问句，Where is ...? It’s in /on under ...本单元谈论的主题是指路和问路，描述地点特征时用到上述句型，学生已经具备了学习本课的初步知识。而且，“指路和问路”话题内容贴近学生的生活，极易于激发学生学习英语的欲望和兴趣，促进他们乐于参与各种英语实践活动。

整体设计

一、教学目标： 1. 语言知识目标：

教学反思

本课的设计体现了任务型的教学特点，同时整个任务链的设计由易到难，逐层递进，使学生顺利地完成了每一个任务。积极有效地评价，促使每一位学生都参与到活动中，掌握重难点，都有所提高。另外，作为一节听说课，在教学过程中注重了听力技巧的指导。但是，由于本单元的主题是方位和地点名词，以学生的深化结合，没有设计学生身边熟悉的建筑物，学生的学习积极性和主动性没有得到完全激发和调动。
