Unit 7 Today is Saturday 【教学目标】

1. 能听懂、会说新单词:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, today, tomorrow等。

1. 认读并掌握表星期的单词:Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. 2. 掌握以下句型:

【教学过程】

Step 1 Warming up 1. 认读星期的单词卡片。

2. 学唱儿歌:Days of a week 通过学唱有关星期的歌曲导入学习本课的新内容,提高学生的学习兴趣。

Days of a week Sunday la la la, Monday la la la, Tuesday la la la, Wednesday la la la, Thursday la la la, Friday la la la, Saturday. That makes a week. Step 2 Presentation 1. 出示笑脸面具。

T: I’m happy today. Do you know why? 鼓励学生大胆猜测。然后出示插有蜡烛的生日蛋糕。

T: Today is my birthday. (出示标记了当天日期的日历)What day is it today? (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.) Ss: It’s Friday. T: Yes, today is Friday. It’s my birthday. 板书单词: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Birthday并带读。

2. Let’s Listen and Say (1)听课文A部分录音,先听两遍,让学生带着问题、带着目的去听。

(2)通过多种形式让学生朗读录音内容。比如:跟录音读,跟教师读,角色扮演朗读。

(3)分小组角色扮演。

3. 学习C部分的知识,出示日历并问:

T: What day is today?

Ss: It’s …

T: What’s the weather like today?

Ss: It’s sunny/cloudy…

板书学习单词: sunny, cloudy, rainy, windy. 4. Let’s Read

(1)看Let’s Read的教学内容,浏览并了解大意。

(2)同桌之间相互讨论,老师在教室走动指导。

Step 3 Practice 1. Complete the table “weather chart”. 2. 完成Let’s Read and Write 部分的作业。
