一、教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

1) 能掌握以下单词：pool, shop, supermarket, man 2) 能掌握以下句型：A: Is the man swimming in the river?

B: No, he isn't. He's swimming in a pool.

2.能力目标：能掌握听力技巧，完成课本的听力练习，能够从听力当中获取信息。

3. 情感态度价值观目标：激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情，在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿，敢于开口，同时通过谈论父母的活动了解他们，关心他们。

二、教学重难点

教学重难点：

1) 掌握本课出现的生词及表达方式。

2) 进一步练习运用现在进行时态的句子来描述他人在做的事情及现在进行时一般疑问句的构成和练习。

3) 通过听、说、读的练习，提高学生们的综合运用能力。

三、教学过程

Step 1. Warming- up and revision 1. Flash: Ss watch a flash “what are you doing?”. Then they sing with it and dance to it. 2. Show the learning aims. 3. Review the words of last lesson by a game. Step2. Presentation

1. T: Show some pictures on the big screen. Present some new words and expressions.

(pool, shop, supermarket, …)

2. Give Ss some time to remember the new words and expressions.

3. Check. Step 3. Group studying. 1.

Practice the dialogue “What are you doing? She is swimming.”

2. T: Look at the pictures below. Where are they? What are they doing? Please look at the pictures and fill in the blanks.

3. Ss work in groups. Discuss the pictures about the places and the activities they are doing. Then fill in the blanks.

3. Let some Ss read their answers to the class and check the answers.

Step 4:Practice

I. Pairwork 1. Look at the pictures and ask and answer questions. Give Ss a model: A: Is the man swimming in the river?

B: No, he isn't. He's swimming in a pool.

2. Ss work with their partners. Ask and answer about the pictures. (If necessary, give some help to the Ss.) 3. Let some pairs ask and answer about the pictures.

II. Group work 1.Talk about the pictures with their partners in their group. 2.Practice the table in their group. III. Listening 1. This time write the places you hear in the chart.

2. Ss listen and write the places.

3. Play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers.

4. This time, please listen to the recording and answer the questions. 5. Play recording and stop the tape if necessary.

6. Check the answers.

Step5: Continuation Let students guess “ Where and What are your parents doing?”, then let them learn to care about their parents. 教学反思：

本节课为现在进行时，课堂上设计的话题贴近学生实际，更容易让学生有话可说，容易调动学生的积极性，激发学生张口的欲望，大大提高了学生的参与度。在课堂上，我为学生创造学习氛围，采用小组合作的形式，让不同程度的学生都有事可做，小组成员之间互相帮助，让他们时常有成功感和成就感，以便进一步激发学生学习的内在动力。小组竞赛和小组合作学习活动能激发学生学习的积极性，让不同基础的同学都能动起来。
