教学准备： PPT 四．教学过程： 1. 情景导入 Play a flash《The Lion King 》.Then ask some questions：Do you know the name of animals? Where do you often see the animals?由学生回答动物园，用电子白板导入新课，充分调动学生的学习兴趣。 2. 看图猜词 (1)出示动物的图片，教学新单词：tiger, elephant, koala, panda, lion, giraffa, 教学新单词的同时，对动物进行简单描述，学习描述的形容词：cute, smart, lazy, beautiful 等。词不离句，使学生在用中学，学中用。电子白板形象生动，视听结合，培养了学生的学习兴趣。 (2)用多媒体电子白板呈现动物的半身照片，同时播放tiger,elephant lion 等的叫声，让学生猜出动物的名称。声音和图片能刺激学生的感官，让他们在游戏中快乐地学习和巩固新单词。

3. 新知呈现 (1）呈现熊猫和老虎图片，教师表达对动物的喜好：I like pandas because they are intering.自问自答：Why do I like pandas ?Because they are intering.I don’t like tigers because they are scary.询问学生：Why don’t I like tigers?

引导学生回答。

（2）小组操练

学生用why-because

句型进行两人一组对话练习，能够正确表达喜好。围绕图片，让学生通过小组交流的形式进行讨论、探究。 （3）询问学生Why

like...s?引导学生回答。然后三人一组进行第三人称的练习。

5、Listening

Work on 1b. Tell Ss to listen to the tape and check the animals they hear in 1a. Play the recording again and check the answers with the class. 6: Pair work 1. Ask the students to imagine “ We are in the zoo, there are many kinds of animals here.”

Then ask a student to do the model with you: — Let’s see the lions first. —Why? (why do you /does she /does he like lions?) —Because they are interesting. 2. Ss work with their partners practice the conversation using the animal in 1c. 7、播放一段保护野生动物的视频。运用电子白板，创设情境，渲染气氛，有利于激发学生丰富的情感。
