一、指导思想与理论依据
《课标》指出:学生要根据单词的音、义、形来学习词汇;在词语与相应事物之间建立联想。鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作、探究等方式,发展听、说、读、写的综合语言技能。
本节课是主要是对话教学,兼单词和句型操练。因此我主要是通过学习对话、看图、游戏活动学习新单词,借助画面的内容理解单词,通过讲解元音发音让学生自己试读整个单词,并通过看图说话等活动让学生使用语言。新课标提倡让学生参与课堂活动,在实践体验中学习英语,因此我设计了让学生利用所学选择自己喜欢的食物作为午餐这个活动,使得学生即学即用,提高了学生语言的实际表达能力。
二、教学分析 教材分析
本节课是第六单元May I take your order?的第一课时即19课教学,主要是学习在饭店谈论食物、点餐的用语。学生在第一至五单元中已经学习了有关谈论心情、打电话、互相帮忙、挑选衣物等表达,为进一步学习本课内容进行了铺垫;另外,在一二年级的教学中已经出现了一些食物单词。因此,在本节课的学习中,应把前边的学习内容和本课的教学联系起来,采用以旧带新的教学导入方式。在教学过程中,通过不同方式的学习,使学生由简入难、循序渐进地掌握所有知识。
学情分析
四年级的学生已经有了初步的英语阅读能力和表达能力,也有了一定的单词量。本节课我结合学生的身心发展特点,利用多媒体激发学生的学习兴趣,培养他们的观察力和注意力; 在学生原有认知的基础上为他们提供机会去参与和体验,多听、多看、多说、多读等多种方式培养学生感知语言的能力和学习英语的自信心。
三、教学目标

知识与技能目标:
1.通过学习对话、观察图片、谈话等方法,学习谈论食物、点餐的表达。
2.能在实际场景中使用这些表达:what would you like to eat? I’d like some vegetables. 谈论自己喜欢的食物。
情感目标:
学生通过学习,知道哪些是健康食品,哪些是垃圾食品,在生活中有健康的饮食习惯。
四、教学重点
1.
一些组合单词如sweet and sour fish,
Chinese cabbages, some vegetables的音、形、义及学习单词的方法。
2.点餐的句型、理解对话
五、教学难点
1.在实际场景中讨论喜欢的食物。
六、教学过程
(一)导入新课
1. Every day English:
What day is today? What’s the date today? What’s the weather like today? What are you wearing today?
[设计意图:每天的口语练习使得学生会用英语;同时也是复习旧知识]
2. Today we are going to learn unit 6, May I take your order? First let’s listen a song: food
What food do you like?
[设计意图:热身活动,吸引学生注意力。]
(二)呈现新知:
1. This is our good friend Mike. He is very happy because today is Sunday. His mom and dad buy him a new pair of shoes. Then they come to a restaurant to have lunch. What would mike like to eat? What about his parents? Let’s watch the movie of the 1st picture.
Then answer the questions.

2. 学习生词:
Vegetables: give some examples: cabbages, eggplants, potatoes, tomatoes…

Meatballs: meat+ball=meatballs
Sweet and sour fish: sugar vinegar
Healthy: pictures about healthy food -junk food 3.
学习句型:What does dad ask? What does mom answer?
引出句型:What would you like to eat? I’d like some vegetables.
Read the sentences.

5. Mike and his parents talk about what food they would like. The waiter is coming. What will mom say? Let’s watch the picture 2.
Questions: 1) What does the waiter ask?

Chinese cabbages: cabbages: round,

Salty: What does mom say to the waiter? The salt is salty. 7. 跟读、表演、小组展示

Mike likes fish, mum likes vegetables, dad likes meatballs. How about you? Let’s talk about it. 学习、训练句型:What would you like to eat/have/drink? I’d like …
9. I have many things about food. Let’s put them into different groups. They are meat, vegetables, staple food, drinks 请学生到前边拖拽
10. Now are you tired and hungry? Let’s choose some food for our lunch. You should use the following sentences when you talk: what would you like for lunch? I’d like __, __, and __.
Do pair work. Then show. (到前边演示、拖拽、装盘)
[设计意图:通过观察图片、学习、联想等方法学习单词的音形义,使学生牢固掌握了基础知识。学生谈论自己喜欢的食物作为午餐,调动了学生自主学习和实际运用语言的积极性。]
(三)课堂小结:
Today Mike is very happy. He gets a new pair of shoes and he has a good lunch. We know what is healthy food and junk food. We should eat less junk food.
(四)布置作业与延伸
1. read the dialogue at least 3 times. 2. Make a menu with A4 paper which has 4 kinds of food, that is staple food, meat, vegetables and drinks
