形容词表达客观的性质更接近中心名词

英语文学作品中人物外貌描写

三、教学准备：学生课前每人通览《书虫》系列中一本，摘录书中人物描写的片段。

四、教学过程：

1.你描述，我猜词。两同学就本单元词汇，一人描述写在黑板上的词汇，另一人猜词

2.Let’s revise the words: 鉴赏英文《两小儿辩日》，并从方框中选词填入横线处。

孔子东游，见两小儿辩日，问其故。

一儿曰：“我以日始出时去人近，而日中时远也。”

一儿以日初出远，而日中时近也。

一儿曰：“日初出大如车盖，及日中则如盘盂，此不为远者小而近者大乎？”

一儿曰：“日初出沧沧凉凉，及其日中如探汤，此不为近者热而远者凉乎

孔子不能决也。两小儿笑曰：“孰为汝多知乎？”

On Confucius’s trip, he sees two kids talking about the sun. “I think the sun is near us at sunrise and it is far away from us at noon.” one ________.

【设计意图】

猜词环节复习本单元词汇，《两小儿辩日》引起同学从不同方面去观察同一事物。也在篇章中再现词汇。因为把解读文本为英语文学中的人物描写，没花过多时间在刑侦画师的职业上。

3.点明英语中的指代。

这一部分用模仿法，先列出两组句子，其中一组用上指代的词语，让同学们观察，并作出选择，从而体会英语中的指代。

深度解读文本。让学生改写课文标题，读出给自己信息量最大的句子的方式，让学生跳出文本的浅层理解。Descriptions of looks in our group:让学生交流出自己摘录的人物描写，板书，体会对比，与课本上有何不同。

欣赏《芒果街上的小屋》，朗读头发一节，并仿写

Hairs

Everybody in our family has different hair. My Papa's hair is like a broom, all up in the air. And me, my hair is lazy. It never obeys barrettes or bands. Carlos' hair is thick and straight. He doesn't need to comb it. Nenny's hair is slippery——slides out of your hand. And Kiki, who is the youngest, has hair like fur. 我们家里每个人的头发都不一样。爸爸的头发像扫把，根根直立往上插。而我，我的头发挺懒惰。它从来不听发夹和发带的话。卡洛斯的头发又直又厚。他不用梳头。蕾妮的头发滑滑的——会从你手里溜走。还有奇奇，他最小，茸茸的头发像毛皮。

5.I want to try to write one. 【设计意图】

关键是引起学生内心柔软的部分，也许会期待到熟悉的手，秀发，双肩，背影等等切身感受到的描写。
