Teaching content：This is a dialogue about ‘Where do you live?’

Class type:reading and speaking class

Class period:40 mins Teaching aims: Knowledge aims: Students will be able to read the new words ,eg:Han nan Island. Ability aims: Students can use the new sentences to speak and talk the dialogue fluently. Emotional aims: Students can get more interested in English learning.

Teaching key points and difficult points: Key points:Student can get more knowledge about Chinese cultrue and read the new words and sentences. Difficult points: Students can distinguish the two prepositions ‘in’and’on’ and use them properly.

Teaching procedures: Step 1 Lead-in: Play a vedio about ‘Where do you live?’ and invites the students to discuss the question. Step 2 Pre-reading After the discussion,the teacher will ask students to think about the new words and dialogue Step 3While-reading Ask students to read after the tape and skim the whole dialogue quickly Learn the new words:games Step 4 Post-reading Retelling Step 5 Summary and homework Summary
