本单元以时间（Time）为话题，学习询问和回答有关时间的表达方式。谈论时间需要用到数字，one~ten 已经学过了，本单元要学习eleven，twelve。在教学中，师生都准备一个时钟或时钟模型，创设情景让学生进行句型“——

What time is it？——

It’s … o’clock.”来询问“几点了？”并做出回答的操练。也可以创设多种情境，如在上学路上遇见同学问时间，在临睡前问家人时间等情境，让学生运用本单元的词汇和句型来谈论和介绍时间。最后利用chant来初步学习元音字母Ii在开音节单词中的发音。
