Knowledge Objectives:

Students can review some new words: meat, mutton, beef, pork, chicken, noddles, cabbage, potato, tomato, carrot, would like, porridge, soup, special, bowl, dumplings, green tea, onion, fish, etc.

Students will have the ability of talking about all kinds of food, fruit, vegetables, meat, drink and how to order them; ②

Teaching Procedures: Step 1 Lead-in Activity 1 Greeting to the whole class Activity 2 Reviewing the expressions of food I will show some pictures about fruit, vegetables, meat, food and drink on the screen. First, ask them to look at the screen. Then invite some students to tell us these food’s names. Last, the teacher invite several pairs to show their conversations by the sentence pattern.

For example:

-What kind of fruit/vegetables/meat/food/drink would you like? -I’d like some......

Step 2 Presentation Activity 1 Setting a situation 1.

Ask students to look at the pictures on the screen, and try to imagine something interesting; 2.

For example, You are so hungry, you are going to the Noodle House and have noodles with your friends. 3.
