三. 教学过程: Step1. Warming-up and review. Show some pictures with different activities on them. Let Ss talk about what they are doing. Step2. Presentation 1. Show some pictures of the weather and present the new words like sunny, windy,cloudy,rainy…

and the new sentences How is the weather(=What’s the weather like).

2. Let Ss look at the picture of a windy day and ask them how the weather is. Help them to answer “It’s windy”. Repeat the same step to make sure Ss can ask and answer about different weather. A: How is the weather? / What’s the weather like? B: It’s sunny/windy/…

Step3.Practice 1. Show some more pictures with different weather and people doing different actions on them. Ask Ss to talk about them in pairs. A: How is the weather? / What’s the weather like? B: It’s sunny/windy/…

Encourage Ss to show their conversations bravely. 2. Ask Ss to talk about the weather in Yangcheng and what are their parents and friends doing? Call up sever pairs to show in front of class. Step4.
