Step 1课前三分钟（4minutes）

Step 2 Lead-in （3minutes）

T: Do you want to go to the zoo?

Ss: Yes, we do. T: Ok, today, let’s go to the zoo! There are lots of animals in the zoo. My favorite animals are pandas, what about you? Can you draw? I will give you 1 minute to draw your favorite animal on your paper. Let’s go! T: Look! I like pandas, they are my favorite animals. Can you say like me?

Show some pictures for class. And use a sentence to describe. Let’s see more animals! (强调like后跟可数名词复数或不可数名词，特殊：fish，sheep) Step 3 New words （5minutes）

Show pictures of animals on PPT.

T: What’s this/that?

Ss: It’s a …. T: What are these/those?

Ss: They’re …. (师带读，齐读，个别读，开火车读，男女生读，小老师带读，重点照顾成都不好的学生) 2.

They are animals. Write down the words according to the pictures. Pay attention to the plural form or the singular form. (a/an,-s) 3.

Check the answers. Step 4 Game （3~5minutes）

Devide the whole class into two groups. (use an animal to name your group)

Teacher shows 5 pictures. Each group choose 1 student to act, others guess. Add 1 point for the group which is faster. The loser should act one animal the winner appointed. Step 5 New presentation (Group work ) We’ve learned a lot of animals, can you use a word to describe them? Such as: beautiful, cute, interesting, smart, lazy, scary…

Work in groups to discuss and think about the description words as much as you can.
