Step 1： Revision

(1): Revise the food words让学生把课后127页unit 10的单词读一遍。

Warming up: T: Do you have breakfast?

S: Yes. T: What do you have for breakfast? S:Porridge, bread, milk and noodles. T: Do you know what I have for breakfast? I have egg and potato noodles. And I usually have noodles here. （展示阿杜重庆面馆的图片，引出下文要复习的three specials) Special 1: beef and tomato noodles Special 2: chicken and cabbage noodles Special 3：mutton, potato and carrot noodles (2): Revise the key sentences

Use information in 2a. Make their own conversation. 先展示一张在餐厅点餐的图片(一个服务员，两个顾客）

，通过问答形式引出所学的句型。

T：where are they？

S：There are in a noodle house. T: Who is the man? S: waiter. (板书引出waitress) T: What are they doing?

S: They are taking their order. （板书take one's order）

先让学生把2a部分的听力材料读一遍

Waiter: What size would you like? Boy: I'd like a large bowl of noodles. Waiter: And what kind of noodles would you like? Boy: I’d like chicken, potato and cabbage noodles. Waiter: And what about you? Girl: I'd like a medium bowl. Waiter: What kind would you like? Girl: I'd like beef and tomato noodles. 重点讲解句型：

(1) What size would you like? Small / medium / large (2) What kind of noodles would you like? Step 2：Practice

展示一张餐厅照片和一张菜单，让学生学会用刚刚所学的句型做对话，可利用下面的模版

A: May I take your order?

B: Yes. Please. A: What would you like? B: I would like a bowl of ...noodles. A: What kind of noodles would you like? B: I would like ......noodles. A: OK! And what size would you like? B: I would like a ..... bowl of noodles.

Step 3：2d Role-play conversation

(1) 先让学生听读一遍，然后回答三个问题

Waitress: Good afternoon. May I take your order? Sally: Yes. Are there any vegetables in the beef soup？

Waitress: Yes. There are some tomatoes. Sally: OK. We'd like one bowl of beef soup. Waitress: Sure. What size would you like? Sally: Large, please. Tom: We'd like gongbao chicken and some mapo tofu with rice. Waitress: OK. One large bowl of beef soup, one gongbao chicken, and one mapo tofu with rice.

Tom: Yes, that's right. questions

1. Are there any vegetables in the beef soup? 2. What size bowl of beef soup would Sally like? 3. What would they like ? (2) 让学生上课堂上角色扮演（3小组）

Step 4: design specials

(1) Guessing game: Show the special of my own, and then let the students guess.(为下文让学生自己设计特色菜做铺垫）

(2)让学生设计自己的特色菜，并report她们准备的特色菜式。

若时间允许让学生进行点餐环节，继续操练所学句型。
