Teaching Aims and Demands (教学目标)

1. Key words: cook, eat, drink, watch, play, sleep 2. The Present Continuous Tense 现在进行时态定义:表示说话时正在进行或发生的动作。

The sentence structure : He/She/It is +v-ing. Examples: Peter is writing. The dog is sleeping. Peter’s sister is reading. 3.

Let the Ss be able to understand the things they can do :

Help the family to do the chores; reading and doing the homework at home and so on. 二、Teaching Keys and Difficulties(教学重难点)

Somebody is doing something . Examples: Peter is writing. He is writing. She is reading. It is sleeping. Peter’s mum is cooking in the kitchen. What are you doing? 三、Teaching methods

(教学方法)

audio visual approach(视听法)、the Situational Teaching Method(情景教学法)、Cooperative Inquiry Method(合作探究法)、the Gaming Teaching Method (游戏法)。

四、Teaching Tools (教学工具): multimedia, a story-book, a ball, a notebook, apple 五、 Teaching Procedure (教学过程)

Step I Warming up Greetings Hi, everybody! I’d like to see you again. It is sunny today. The air is nice and clean. I wish you happiness in our English class.

The teacher plays the multimedia and shows some pictures The teacher acts as a man who is writing now.

Then asks the Ss what he is doing at the moment. After the Ss answer the teacher’s question, the teacher writes down the topic of this unit ----“Unit 5 Peter is writing.” on the blackboard.

Step III Presentation I Grammar Focus The teacher introduces the Present Continuous Tense to the Ss. 现在進行时态:表示说话时正在進行或发生的动作。

1) Watch and do as the video. The dog is sleeping.

5. Play a game.(I say you do)

Step V Group show (Part B)

1. Read Part B together. (齐读B 部分) 2. Read and Act

(边读边演) 3.Read one by one (组员每人读一句)

4.One reads and the group leader (一人读,其他组员表演) 5.Read after the group leader

(组长带读) 6. Write the words down beautifully

Step VI

Part A 1. Watch and talk. 2. Listen and match. 3. Watch and check. 4. Watch and repeat. 5. Discuss and summarize the sentence pattern. _________________ is v-ing.

教学后记:

小学英语教育教学的方式方法的确宜于同小学生幼小的心理特征相适应。本人在做教学本课内容的准备工作时,觉得难度比较大的地方就在于如何样子很好的去把握住小学生的心理特点,恰当地活跃课堂内学习氛围,以便于顺利的去推动推進教育教学活动往后持续的开展。
