Warm-up
(Showing pictures of park, bird, bee, slide, ant, sock on PPT) (guessing game) T: Hello, boys and girls. What is this?(pointing at the park) S: It’s a park!
T: Yes. What is this?(pointing at animals or stuffs) S: It’s a cat.(some words they already know)
Look at the picture and answer questions.
Students’ Activities / Purposes

is this?”) T: Good! Today let’s visit this park together!
Step 2 Learn new words with the sentence “what can you see?”
(showing the topic on PPT) (Learn the topic) 1.
T: Everybody, read after me: what can you see? S: what can you see? Then teacher will read with a “see”
gesture, and ask the students to repeat and do the same gesture after the teacher. 2.
After reading the topic, the teacher will show pictures of new words on PPT and ask students the question “what’s this?”
again.
(Learn the new words) 3.The teacher will show the new words below each picture and ask the students to read after the teacher and repeat the gestures. After each picture, the teacher will ask “What’s this?”
“what can you see?”and the students will answer “It’s a bird” “I can see a bird”.
(The teacher will write the sentences “what can you see?” and “I can see a bird” on the board or show them on PPT. ) (Practice the new words)
Read the topic.
Listen carefully to the new words. The students read the new words after the teacher and answer questions.
4.Flash pictures of new words on PPT and
have students read team by team. Practice 5. Flash new words on PPT and have students read and do the gestures for each word. 6.Flash new words and do Q&A activity.(one team asks “what can you see?”, and the other teams answer “I can see a bird”. Students should ask and answer with gestures.)
Step 3
Learn sentences “where is the
bird?” “It’s ……”
(showing picture of the park again) (Learn sentences) 1. Do the Q&A activity. After each Do the activity and read sentence “I can see a ……”, the teacher after the teacher. will show sentences like “It’s here” and ask the students to read after the teacher.
2. The teacher will ask a question “where
is the bird?” (pointing at the sentence Answer questions. beside the bird), and the students will answer “It’s under a slide”. (continue ask
where the other animals are.)

3.Flash pictures and have students ask Practice and answer “where is the ……?” and answer questions. “It’s ……” team by team. 4.Show the picture of park and say “I can see a bird. It’s…(students’ job to say where the bird is)…”. Have students practice this one with another.(teacher can ask two students to stand up and do this activity) 5.Read the whole content in the book after the teacher and then read it together by themselves.
Practice the sentences.

Step 4 Wrap up 1.Ask different students to do gestures on the stage and the rest of the class has to guess and say the word very quickly. The one who is the quickest helps the team get points. 2.Ask some other students to do the gestures and ask “what can you see?” and the rest of the class has to answer to this question very quickly. The one who does this the quickest helps the team get points. 3. Play Step 5 Homework Memorize the new words and sentences.
