Unit9 What does he look like?—writing教学设计

学情分析：书面表达是写的一种途径，是英语交际的重要组成部分。初中阶段对于英语写作的要求，实际上是“有指导的写作”(guided writing)。它通过提供情景(文字、图画、表格)，让学生用学过的英语语言来描述事物或事件并表达一定的思想，以此达成和检验对所学英语语言知识的实践应用能力。客观地说，书面表达一直是我们英语教学的一个难点，也是学生应试的一个难点。但学生一直无从抓手，所以设计本课为学生示范引领，走出不会写盲目写到不愿写，惧怕写，直至最后拒绝写的恶性循环。

教学目标：1.是培养学生表述与表达事实、观点、情感、想象力的能力，学会交流信息，培养规范的写作习惯。

2.通过写作指导是学生能简单描述人物或事件，能使用适当的连接词为文章增加亮点。

3.体会父母的艰辛，懂得感恩父母，努力学习回报社会。

教学重难点:准确描述人物，使用适当连接词过度为文章增色。

Lead-in The teacher shows a picture of milking in an earthquake in Nepal. Students guess: 1. The relationship of them？

2.What’s the baby doing？

4. What happened? The teacher asks “what do you think of your mother?”

二、Pre-writing Students enjoy some pictures about mother. T: There’s a common character in those pictures. -----mother 1.★Can you introduce your mother to us ？Show the mind map from 5 aspects:job,hobby, appearance, personality, contribution

2.Students work in pairs like this: (1)job what’s her job？/ what does your mother do？

三、While-writing 1.老师出示要求

母爱是无私的、伟大的。作为孩子，我们应该怎样报答的母亲的养育之恩呢？请以此为话题，谈谈母亲对你的爱及你将来如何孝敬母亲，同时表达对她的美好祝愿。
