Unit 2 Spring is warm. 第一课时教学设计

一、教学内容：

本节课是湖南少年儿童出版社小学英语四年级下册《Unit 2 Spring is warm and nice.》第一课时教学。有关气候的词汇，学生在前册教材中有过接触。本节课是通过对四个季节的单词的学习和气候描述，运用情景呈现了一部分表示气候的词汇，

不仅要求学生会认读新的词汇，更强调学生对词汇和句型的运用。

本节课主要是围绕“I like spring. Spring is warm and nice. It’s ___ in ……”等话题展开多种教学活动，使学生能够用目标语言简单描述四季及不同的天气，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。

二、教学目标：

知识目标： 1.复习有关天气的单词：weather，warm，hot，cold，cloudy，sunny等等。

2.学习新单词：spring ,summer ,autumn ,winter，cool。

3.学习新句型：Spring is warm and nice . It’s hot in summer. It’s clod in winter. What’s the weather like…? It’s …. 能力目标:

能够使用句型 I like spring . Spring is warm and nice . It’s hot in summer. It’s clod in winter. 描述四季及天气。并能初步运用句型What’s the weather like…? It’s ….进行语言交际。

情感目标： 1.培养学生学习英语的兴趣，感受学习英语的乐趣，

2.培养学生的意志力。在活动中培养学生的协作精神和竞争意识。

3.通过教学中的活动，进一步培养学生热爱自然的情感。

三、教学重点及难点

重点：1.能听懂、会说、认读单词spring, autumn, summer, winter, weather，warm, cool, hot, cold。

2.能理解、认读并初步运用句子I like spring. Spring is warm and nice.并能初步运用新句型What’s the weather like…? It’s …. 进行交流。

难点：

1.准确认读spring, summer, autumn, winter, cool单词。

2.理解并运用新学句子自如地谈论四季的天气并能有所拓展。

四、教学方法：

情境法、直观法、游戏法、任务型教学和多媒体辅助法等。

自制PPT课件、配套教学用碟、图片等。

六、教学步骤

Step 1 warming up 1、Greetings. 2、A game：Magic eyes. ——Magic eyes and quick response（火眼金睛，快速反应）

（review the words : weather, cold , hot , warm , sunny ,rainy ,cloudy, windy ,snowy ) (设计意图：创设轻松愉悦的学习氛围，激发学生学习英语的兴趣；复习有关天气的单词，为本课学习和运用新知做好铺垫。) Step 2 presentation and drill 1.The new words :

1)Watch the video: Changing seasons. （导入新课）

通过观看动画片，让学生初步感知四季：spring, summer, autumn, winter。（用动画片来调动学生学习英语的积极性，让他们进入学习英语的氛围和最佳状态，同时也为单词和句型做准备。）

2)出示四幅优美的四季风景画，教学四个新单词。

3）Drills.(CAI) Guess : what season is it? 依次出示单词：flower, green, warm, nice. T-shirt, ice-cream, swim, hot. orange, yellow, cool, nice. white, scarf, ｓｎｏｗ，cold. (设计意图：课件上逐步出示有关季节的单词，让学生猜测是哪个季节。学生在游戏中进一步巩固操练新单词，并为后面灵活运用所学知识做好铺垫。) 2.The new sentence patterns.

T: What’s the weather like in spring? (CAI) S: It’s warm. T: Yes, it’s warm in spring. And it’s nice,too. Spring is warm and nice . 用课件逐步呈现四个季节的画面及相关单词和句型：What’s the weather like in spring？It’s warm and nice. 让学生整合所学知识，说出各个季节的特点，使学生掌握不同天气有关的英语表达。

3.The dialogue.(Part A) 1)Watch the video . 观看视频，感知课文内容，说出听到的句子。

2）Read the dialogue together. 3) Answer the questions: Who likes spring ? Who likes autumn? What season do you like ? 4）分小组练读。

5）分角色表演。

6）A chant. Spring is warm. Spring is nice. Spring is warm and nice. Summer is sunny. Summer is hot. Summer is sunny and hot. Autumn is cool. Autumn is nice. Autumn is cool and nice. Winter is cold. Winter is white. Winter is cold and white. （设计意图：通过有节奏的说唱，进一步巩固所学单词和句型，同时能够让学生感受到学习英语的愉悦之情。）
