Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings. 2.Free talk . Revision the new words and sentences about some animals.

Presentation

1.利用玩具或单词卡片教单词。

T: look! It’s a lovely animal. What is it? S: A little dog /cat/ rabbit. T: yes, you can say, It’s a puppy / kitten / rabbit. Can you act as a puppy/kitten/rabbit?（老师做动作，带读单词，让学生模仿、跟读。）

板书，解释单词的含义，让学生口头填空，练习新词。

利用多媒体展示各种动物图片让学生自由谈话。

运用现代教学信息技术的特殊功能突出教学 重点、突破难点。在小学英语教学中，词汇教学是一个难点，同时又是重点。多媒体课件突破传统的口语、文字单项传输教学模式，使口语、文字、声像结合，生动形象地展示认识对象。针对学生在词汇的学习中出现的问题，利用多媒体信息技术的特殊功能制作出各种适合词汇教学的课件，能很好地解决这一难题。

游戏———Happy passing （快乐传真）

教师将“can I have a pet/rabbit/puppy ?”“Yes please. / No ,Thank you. I want a …”小声地告诉每一组的第一个学生，该生通过手势或口型传给后面的同学，依次传递，各组最后一名学生说出句子。传得又快又准的一组为胜。
