Unit 3 Do you want some rice ? 第一课时

一、教材分析:

本课的教学内容选自湘少版《小学英语》五年级上册Unit 3 Do you want some rice?中的第一课时。本课时的学习内容为课文Part A和Part B,目的在于让学生运用本单元的词汇和句型进行口语交际。涉及的单词有breakfast,lunch,dinner,

soup,vegetables,tomato,potato。主要句型是:Do you want some …和Yes,please./ No,thank you. 本节课主要从学生感兴趣的食物出发,鼓励学生积极参与,大胆练习,激发学生学习英语的积极性,提高学生的语言综合运用能力。

二、学情分析:

五年级的学生通过两年的英语学习,已具备了一定的语言基础和良好的口语表达能力,但是不愿开口说的学生还普遍存在。但是小学生喜欢直观形象思维,我上课之前已经调查班上学生对食物和水果的喜好,所以本堂课我应该能较好抓住学生的注意力。

三、教学目标

1.知识与技能

(1)能听说读写本课时词汇:breakfast,lunch,dinner,soup, vegetables, potato,tomato,并能做到发音准确;

(2)能熟练运用句型:“Do you want some …?”和“Yes,please./ No,thank you.”;

(3)熟读课文。

2.过程与方法

(1)通过师生对话、生生对话作为教学的基本过程,让学生掌握听说的基本方法;

(2)采用听说法、任务型活动教学法及创设情景交际法,来激发学生的学习兴趣,通过各种练习调动积极性。

3.情感、态度与价值观

(1)能有礼貌地询问他人的需求

(2)能对别人的询问恰当地表达感谢或拒绝。

四、教学重、难点

重点:会读会说新单词,能询问他人“Do you want some …?”并能用“Yes,please./ No,thank you.”回答。

难点:some more ,a little的理解和应用是难点,因为在口语对话中会经常用到,所以要弄清他们的含义。B部分的单词发音也是难点。Vegetables要特别注意复数形式,tomato,potato要多读,加强记忆。

单词卡片、圆形磁铁、四线三格贴、小黑板等

Warming up(热身活动) 1.

Review Grade 5 Unit 2 and Grade 4 [设计意图] 由以前学过的食物单词引入本单元新单词。

In Unit 2 we learned many food words,let’s review them.(师展示单词卡片) Teacher says:”I’d like a/some ......”生齐读单词卡片上的单词。[设计意图]巩固第二单元句型。

In Grade 4 we also learned some food words,can you remember?Let’s review them.(师展示单词卡片) Teacher says:”I like ......”生齐读单词卡片上的单词。Read like this:”Rice,rice 米饭”. Step Ⅱ

Presentation and drill(任务导入

简洁明白)

(一)Teach the new words.

Today we will learn more food. 1.

Look at this word (展示卡片) soup 2.

Read after me

I read loudly,you read lowly;I read lowly,you read loudly. 4.

Group 1 read one by one. The same method teach vegetables,tomato,potato,breakfast(the morning meal),lunch(the midday meal),dinner(the evening meal),have breakfast,have lunch,have dinner. 5.

Read together ,each words read twice.[设计意图]巩固新学单词

Learn sentences(学句型) Now,are you hungry?Do you want some food?OK,let’s have some food and drinks.

I want some more ......... 2.What’s meaning of “want”(想要), What’s meaning of “some”(一些)。And the sentence’s meaning is 你想要一些什么?

3.I point it, you read it .Pay attention question tone.(注意疑问语气) 4.How to answer it? If you want ,you can say :”Yes, please.”

If you don’t want ,you can say :”No,thank you.”(板书) 5.

Let’s practice ,this group answered one by one.I ask you,you answered.Other students look at the blackboard,you read the words I point,And this group answered one by one.[设计意图]巩固新学句型

When you say:”No,thank you.”You can express what you want. For example: Do you want some chicken?
