教学目标

1. 能听懂、会说、认读新单词the Spring Festival, eve of the Spring Festival, a family reunion dinner, get red packets, light firecrackers, watch lion dancers, enjoy, have great fun;能听懂、会说单词relative。

2. 能用句型“We /They /…”表达春节的一些风俗;能听懂句型“What do you /people do during the Spring Festival?

3.能了解春节的相关习俗。

重点:掌握春节有关的词汇。

难点:用英语描述春节的情景。

Step 1 Warming up. 1. Greetings 2.Sing a song:Happy New Year (有节奏的拍手)

Step 2 Presentation

1.

回忆四季的英文

spring, summer, autumn, winter. T: Do you like the Chinese New Year? Ss:Yes.. T: The Chinese new year it’s the Spring Festival.

Teach “ Spring Festival”, festival←fes-ti-val,分音节教授。

T:Can you tell me something about the Spring Festival? SS: 穿新衣,买好吃的,拜年等等。

T:Yes. You are right.

New words (1)通过课件或图片,教学生认读新单词或短语。eve of the Spring Festival, a family reunion dinner, light firecrackers, get red packets, watch lion dances, have great fun. (2)Magic fingers.看手指读单词。

(3)Wooden man.边做动作边朗读单词,读完三遍后变成木头人。

The dialogue (1)引入课文学习,看A部分短篇,了解文章大意。

学生带着问题看A部分短篇,初步整体感知课文。

通过上面的问题引出新单词relative, enjoy, house, delicious。

(3)阅读课文,独立完成下列任务。

①How Mrs Zhang’s family celebrates the Spring Festival.

阅读前给出学法指导,找出文章中的关键动词。

②一起检查核对内容,并进行词组学习。

People go home to join their families. Mrs Zhang is cooking for her family. All of Mrs Zhang’s relatives meet at her house.

They have a big and delicious meal. Children enjoy the Spring Festival most. They wear new clothes. They get red packets.

They light firecrackers.

They watch lion dances. They have great fun.

(4)细读课文,完成下列问题。

①What do they do before the Spring Festival?

②What do they do on eve of the Spring Festival? ③What do children do during the Spring Festival?

Ppt 展示帮助学生回答这些问题。

两人一组互相介绍春节,对于口语能力较弱的人直接读PPT上的句子也可以。
