Step 2: Storytelling
T tells the story following the PPT(with some questions). (Picture 1)There was an old tree stump in the garden. “That old stump has to go,” said Dad. (Picture 2)Look! What did Dad do? Dad pulled the old stump, but it didn’t come up.
(Picture 3)Dad called Mum to help. “I’ll push it. You pull it,” said Dad. (Picture 4)“When I say pull,” said Dad, “I want you to pull!”
Did Mum and Dad pull it out? Mum pulled and pulled, but the stump didn’t come up. (Picture 5)Dad called Biff.
“I want you to pull,” said Dad. Mum and Biff pulled…but the stump still didn’t come up. (Picture 6)Dad wanted Chip to help. “When I shout pull,” said Dad, “I want you to pull.”
What about this time? Did the stump come up? They all pulled…but the stump still didn’t come up. (Picture 7)Kipper wanted to help. “Come on, then,” said Dad. “When I shouted pull…PULL!”

6 students making a group should be finished in 4 minutes: One or two students retell the story, the other draws the picture one by one, following the story.
