Christmas is a popular holiday in the USA .It’s on the 25th of December. But people usually have a party on the 24th of December.They usually spend time with their family .They have beautiful Christmas trees and give presents to each other. Everybody can get a Christmas present at Christmas.

T: Do you like Christmas?

S: Yes, we do.

Step3.Presentation. T: Last Christmas, my family got a lot of presents. Here are some presents. Let me show you. OK? Ss: OK! (Show three different color boxes) T: Can you guess, what present is it? What’s in the box?

1.red box→purse T: Let’s have a look. Open it. T: Wow, a beautiful purse. It’s my purse. It’s mine. I usually put money in it.I like the colour very much.

T:My mother gave me the purse, so it’s from my mother.(板书：It’s from…) 2. blue box→teapot T: Let’s open it. Oh, it’s a teapot. T: How about the teapot? S: It’s very nice. T: Yes. It’s very beautiful.
