一、教材内容
本课是闽教版小学《英语》五年级上册Unit 4 Part A的内容,本课的话题为周末活动。通过本课教学,进一步培养学生合理安排周末时间,与他人交往与合作的能力。
二、教学目标
1.知识与技能
学习单词cinema,glasses,film,afraid;
学习短语
sit down,put on;
学习句子
It’s Sunday today. Can we…?
Yes. Let’s go.
能用所学语言描述周末的一项活动;
能根据已有知识合作、制定出一份周末计划。
2.过程与方法
①
利用多媒体技术、把课文内容以动画形式呈现出来,充分调动视觉、听觉、感觉等多种感官参与学习;
②
运用歌曲、TPR热身,营造良好的学习氛围。
3.情感、态度、价值观:
培养学生合理安排周末时间,与他人交往与合作的能力。

四、教学过程
Step1: Warm-up and lead-in 1. 师生互致问候
T:Class begins. Ss: Good morning, Miss Xie. T: Good morning, boys and girls. Before our lesson , let’s sing a happy song to start our happy class: There are seven days.(出示PPT,播放歌曲There are seven days,全班齐唱歌曲。)
【设计意图】上课伊始,师生间热情问候以及欢快的英文歌曲,营造良好的英语学习环境。

唱英文儿歌:There are seven days
(全班站着一起唱完)
T:Good job! Now, boys and girls, sit down, please. (老师示意sit down,出现短语“sit down”)。Then , stand up, please. (教师带读,学生跟读,操练“sit down”)Follow me, sit down! Ss: Sit down.
T: OK, follow me, let’s act. (根据教师的指示“sit down”和“stand up”来做动作,教师把sit down贴在黑板上)。
【设计意图】利用TPR把学生的注意力吸引到课堂上来。
3.谈话导入:
T: There are seven days in the week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but I like Saturday and Sunday best, because I can do many interesting things at weekend. So, here we can use “weekend” instead of “Saturday and Sunday ”(出示“weekend”),follow me, weekend, and today we are going to talk about “Unit4 Part A weekend activities”. (把weekend activities 贴在黑板上)
【设计意图】由歌曲中的Saturday和Sunday引出weekend activities,自然而然地进入主题。
Step 2: Review T: Before our new topic, let’s watch some interesting videos together, and guess what are they doing?
(全班一起观看视频,根据视频复习短语:play in the park, play football, go boating
go swimming等。)
【设计意图】通过学生自己的搞笑视频,一方面制造轻松欢快的氛围,一方面复习旧知,为后面的学习活动做准备。
Step 3: Presentation and practice T: Ok, now, let’s come back to our text. Turn to page 23, listen to the radio, and think about the four following questions:
No. 1 what day is it today? No. 2 where do they go?
No. 3 who are they? No. 4 what do they do? In a word, they are 4 key words to help you: when, where, who, where (边出示问题边把“when”“who”“where”“what”四个提示词贴在黑板上对应位置,播放课文视频两遍。)
【设计意图】利用思维导图和key words,帮助学习运用when,who,where,what,把整个对话内容理解透彻,学生只要会回答这四个词,基本就会理解课文内容了。
T:After listening to the radio, let’s read our text together. (PPT呈现课文第一幅图的对话)
Hi, dad, It’s Sunday today.
T: Who can tell us the first question: when, what day is it today? Ss: Sunday. T: Yes, it’s Sunday.(把单词Sunday 贴在黑板上对应位置)
T:Can we go to the cinema? Yes. Let’s go. Yeah! Here is a new word: cinema. Follow me,cinema. Ss: Cinema. T: Boys, follow me, cinema.
Boys: Cinema.
T: Girls, cinema.
Girls:Cinema. (操练cinema, 男女生分开跟读,小组跟读,把cinema贴在黑板上对应位置)
T: So, who can answer the question“Where do they go?”
T: Yes, they go to the cinema, and we also can know “ who are they”,
S3: Ben, Sally ,Dad, Kate. T:Well done, Sally ,Ben, Kate and dad will go to the cinema. (把四个主人公的头像贴在黑板上对应位置)
T:At the cinema, what happened? Let’s go on.(PPT呈现课文第二幅图的对话)
Sit down, kids. Put on your glasses. Here, new word, glasses, they are glasses, (PPT出示图片),they are glasses , too. Put on your glasses. Put on. (教师请一位戴眼镜的学生,示范put on your glasses,操练glasses,开“火车”,小组读,男女生分开读。)
(PPT出现句子We’ll watch a 3D film. Yes, dad.)
T:Film, this row ,one by one, film, watch a film, watch a 3D film.(操练film)
So they watch a 3D film.(把watch a 3D film 帖在黑板上相应位置)
T:OK,let’s continue.(PPT呈现课文第三幅图的对话)
Look, a tiger. Oh, no! It’s jumping at me. Don’t be afraid.
What’s the
meaning of “afraid”, who can act out?(请几位学生来表演“害怕的”的表情。)
【设计意图】本环节为课文学习部分,每个小对话层层递进,通过多媒体课件的flash,把学生带入特定语言环境中,进行知识讲解,生动的影音资料,为学生提供充足的语言输入。
Step 4: Development 1. T: Ok, today is Friday, the weekend is coming, make a plan of weekend, so invite your friends to do some weekends activities, and finish the graph, they are some useful sentences and expressions to help you. (PPT出示表格和句型It’s Sunday today. Can we
?Yes. Let’s go.

【设计意图】再次让学生运用句型It’s Sunday today. Can we
?Yes. Let’s go.,进一步巩固本节课重要句型。
Step 5 Homework T:Today , we learn how to talk about our weekend activities and the new words: cinema, film, afraid, glasses and so on , so today’s homework. (PPT出示本节课的作业)
Here’s the homework for you. ①听录音,跟读课文2遍;
②完成《活动手册》本课练习
③每一组推选四位同学把本课的对话表演出来。(PPT出示作业)
【设计意图】利用课后作业,复习巩固本课知识,①②其中是针对全体学生,③是针对学有余力的学生,略有难度的作业使他们有跳起来摘苹果的欲望。
