Step 1. Warming- up and lead in

1.Watch a video about Xi’an .(Before class) T: This video is about culture of

Xi’an .What do you think of it ? …I think so .On May Day holiday, I went to Xi’an .I want to share with you .So I bought many

postcards .Look! 2.Know the postcard and its values . T:Look at the front side ,it is to spread culture ,look at the back ,on the left, we can share experience and express feelings; on the right ,you put stamp and write address ,you can post it everywhere you want . Maybe Canada or Europe . Step 2.

Pre-reading : Free talk.

1. .Look at the pictures in 2a. Talk about the pictures . T: Do you think which season it is ? Why ?

Read the first postcard in 2b and math the first postcard with the correct picture in 2a. (跳读找关键词)

学法指导：Don’t read one by one ,you only find out the key words .I want to know “who is the fastest ?” If you find it ,you say “Bingo” OK ,begin . Ss read the postcards quickly and match the postcard the correct picture.

Then check the answers.
