Step 1: Warming- up and revision Describe your three classmates from height, build and hair. Then look at the picture and describe him/her Step2: Lead-in Let's enjoy a video: a funny face 1.

Ask students “What does he look like?” from the two faces.

(Show two pictures on the big screen, and present the new words and expressions in this period) 2. Do a game: Lucky Wheel 2. Work on 1a: Match the words with the pictures.

Step3. Presentation

Show some pictures and ask “What does he/she look like?”

Give some phrases：

She has long straight black hair. She has big eyes, a small nose, a small mouth and a round face. She is very cute.

Pair-work Give some pictures about famous people and ask and answer from face. -What does he/she look like? - He / She has….

3. Read the phrases in the box in 1b and make sentences about famous people with the words. 1.

____________ has blonde hair. 4. Fill in the blanks and check each other.

Step4. Listening Work on 1c & 1d You will hear Maria and Danny talking about Tina Brown and Johnny Dean. 1. Your job is to write the job each person does. Point to the heading "Job" on the chart. Listen again and check the answers. 2. This time your job is to write what each person looks like. I will give some phrases and students choose some from these.

Step5. Pair work Let’s do a game: Choose a number and describe it.

Then describe your classmates and talk about it.

Step6 Summary and homework 1.
