Step 1

Lead-in （激趣导入）

Have a small talk with 1.

Step 2 Present new words and sentences （创设情境，呈现新知）

Present the new words by showing some pictures in the screen, such as an actor, a doctor, a nurse, a bank clerk, a reporter. Teacher uses the target language to ask “What does he/she do?”

Teacher writes down the new words on the blackboard while showing the pictures.

Step3 Practice the new words and sentences （练习新单词、新句型）

Game: Show the students some pictures which can only reflect part of jobs and let the students speak the names of jobs as quickly as they can. 2.

Let the students use the jobs to ask and answer in pairs.

让学生猜说出其他他们知道的职业借此扩充单词量

在词汇量达到时再练习新句型，循序渐进

Step 4 Group work （小组合作，对话练习）

Divide the students into 4 groups and let them ask and answer the questions : What do your family members do? What do they want to be? Write the answers on the paper and make a report for the class. Ask and answer the questions” What do your family members do? What do they want to be? and why?” in group

小组活动联系实际生活，同时让学生感觉学有所用，充分培养学生的听说读写综合语言表达能力。

Step 5 Summary （课堂小结）

The teacher adds New words: actor, reporter, waiter, shop assistant, doctor, student, bank clerk等和句型师生共同归纳，总结本节课What do/does sb. do? Students Sum up the content 所要掌握的词汇，短语及句today
