一。Teaching aims

1. 学习常见的地点词汇；

2. 学会在街上问路和指路的表达。

二．Teaching steps:

Step1 Free talk Try to speak out the names of place you know. First get the SS to look at PPT.由street 到Bridge street/ Center street/Long street.then get them to read.

Step2 Presentation Learn the new words about places in 1a. Teach the new words like the following: 1.on Bridge street..... 2.on Center street .... 3.on Long street..... 然后带读。要求学生完成1a.

Step3. ask and answer 1.Is there a....near here ? Yes,there is. It’s on...... 2.Is there a ...on.....?Yes,there is ./No,there isn’t. 象这样反复多次，先集体回答，后个人回答。

Step4.work in pairs 然后展示。

Step5.Listen and circle,finish off 1b. Step6.Do some exercises and check their keys. Step7.HW: copy the new words aft6er school.
