Teaching target：

1.be able to use English numbers skillfully；

2. be able to make sentence “How many---are there?” and answer the question.

Teaching focus:

Count the numbers in English

Teaching Difficulties:

Use“How many…？”to make sentences and use “There are…”to answer them.

Teaching procedure:

Step 1 Warming-up 1.

Greetings 2.

Let’s enjoy “Ten Little Indians”

Review “What time is it ?

It’s---o’clock.”

Let’s count one to twelve

Step 2 Presentation and drill 1.

Let’s learn thirteen to twenty, pay attention to their pronunciations

Show some pens to teach the sentence pattern: “How many (pens) are there?
