Don't eat in class. Section A (1a-1c)

一、教学目标：

1. 语言知识目标：

1) 能掌握以下单词：rules, arrive, late, hall, dinning hall, listen, listen to, fight, sorry

2) 能掌握以下句型：

Don't eat in class.

②

You must be on time.

③

Eat in the dining hall.

2. 学会用英语表达一些标志的含义。

3. 熟练使用目标语言谈论对某些规章制度（校规、家规等）的看法

3. 情感态度价值观目标：

能用英语表达和制定一些简单的规则，理解没有规矩不成方圆；无论是在学校时还是在家庭中以及以后走上社会都应当遵守规则，按规则办事。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点：

1) 肯定祈使句是省略掉主语的原形动词开头；

2) 否定祈使句则是在肯定祈使句前加上“don’t”。

3) 情态动词must及have to在用法上的区别。

2. 教学难点：

掌握祈使句的用法，并能听懂、会说一些简单的祈使句。

三、教学过程

Step1. Leading-in 1.

Greet the students 2.

Teacher: Boys and girls! Please think about “What you usually do in school/in class/after school/after class/at home/on weekends”. Students: I usually have lessons in school.

I usually play games after school.

I usually listen to music at home.

I usually play soccer on weekends. Teacher: Yes, you are right. But I think these activities must be done at the proper time and proper places. You can never change them. For example: Can you listen to music in the classrooms at school? The answer is “NO”. There are some rules in every school. We also have rules in our school. Now please open your books at Page 19. Let’s see what we can do and what we can’t do in school. 环节说明：通过谈论学生（在周末、学校、家里、放学后、下课后等）经常做的一些活动，复习学过的知识，激发学生说英语的热情，从而导入本单元的话题。同时教育学生遵守学校、家庭、公共场所的规则，做一个文明的中学生。

Step2. Pre-task 1.

Show some pictures to teach the new words and phrases. 2.

Look at the pictures and talk about the rules in school. Then teach the sentences of the rules. 3.

Practice the school rules. Teacher: We have learnt some school rules. Let’s summarize the school rules. Do you remember them? Students: Yes. Don’t arrive late for school. Don’t listen to music in the classroom. Don’t eat in the classroom. Don’t fight.…

Teacher: Yes. You are right. And then except them, what other rules are there in our school? Please discuss the question in a group.(after two minutes) Let’s talk about it,

Students: Yes. …

Step3 While-task Teacher: What are the students doing in the picture? Is that good to do that? What do you want to say to them? Oh, there are five rules on the left. Let’s see what they are . Since we have got to know about these rules, please think about how to match the rules with the pictures. Then let’s check the answers. Step4. Post-task 1.

Listening Teacher: For this part, please listen carefully, and pay attention to what rules these students are breaking. I’ll play the recording the first time. You can listen and write

the numbers after the names. 2.

Role-play Role-play the conversation and play it in front of the class. 3.
