一、教学目标:
1、初步掌握单词date、birthday、when、present和句型When’s your birthday?My birthday is on the ……What would you like as a birthday present? I’d like……
2、整体理解A部分对话。
3、初步理解日期的表达方法,并会在情景中运用。
二、教学重难点:理解A部分内容,培养学生的阅读能力和自主学习能力。
三、教学过程:
Step1.Warm up 1.Greetings 2.Free talk T:What day is it today? Ss:It’s……
T:What does this sign mean?(课件出示各种标志)
Ss:It means……
T:What date is it today? (课件出示儿童节、教师节、国庆节三个节日)
Ss: It’s……(板书上面的三个日期的表达方式:the日of月) Step2.Presentation 1 .Teach:When’s your birthday? My birthday is on……
a.T:My birthday is coming.It’s on the…… of……When’s your birthday?(板书,教授) S:(引导学生回答)My birthday is on……(板书,领读)
师依次问几位同学,结合学生的回答强调具体日期前用介词on。
b.Pairwork:同桌互相问答,询问各自的生日。
2.Teach:What would you like as a birthday present? a.T:Do you usually have a birthday party?
S:Yes,I do. T:I usually have a birthday party,too.And I can get a lot of beautiful presents.(师出示一个包装精美的礼盒,让学生理解present一词的含义。) b.(师打开礼盒,拿出一只钢笔)T:I ’like a pen as my birthday present.What would you like as a birthday present? S:I’d like……
c.Pairwork:小组内操练句型,互相询问想要什么生日礼物。
