Practice. Pupils compare their height and weight this year with last year. Then tell the whole class, pay attention to the past tense and simple present tense. Write down the two sentences in their exercise books. Step 4. Extension

Listen to one or two pupils talk about their height and weight, then repeat what they said with the third person’s tones. E.g. S1: I was 128 cm last year. This year I am 132 cm.

S2: Mary was 128 cm last year. This year she is 132 cm.
