一.教学内容
本课教学内容是四川新路径英语(一年级起点)第11册Lesson7 Happy Halloween 二.学情简析
经过五年的英语学***部分学生已经养成了良好的学习习惯,具备一定的英语自主学习能力,能够在课前利用一起作业网对课文预习,进行听、读及运用微信公众号进行课前微视频的学***部分学生对万圣节的中文背景有所了解,个别学生了解有关万圣节的英文信息,可能会有过万圣节的经历,具备收集、整理、分析语言资料的能力;授课班级是六年级2班。
三.教学目标
1.知识目标:能够听说、认读单词
pumpkin,ghost,jack-o’-lantern ,witch ,devil , bat.Halloween, trick or treat, festival, scary, (mummy ,skelenton ,vampire , decorate , zombie (2)能听说、认读句型
This/That is… These/Those are…
2.能力目标:
(1)能用所学词汇、句子简单描述万圣节;
(2)能够借助一起作业用微信公众号学***台进行预习;
(3)通过小组合作的方式进行动手能力培养、用歌曲、和微课视频的学习方式,提高英语交际能力;
3.情感态度目标:
通过文本学习、表演等方式,能够了解、感受万圣节的文化。
四.教学重难点
了解、感受万圣节的文化背景;运用所学词汇、句子,简单介绍万圣节。
五.教学准备
课件、万圣节道具等
六.课前预习
1.通过一起作业网预习课文. 2.观看万圣节英文介绍的视频。
七.教学过程
Step1. Warm up. 1. Greetings 2.Freetalk T: What day is it today? Ss: It’s Tuesday.
T: How is the weather today? What season is it now? Yes, Autumn is here, it’s getting.. .. But it’s cold today, May I close the door? T:What’s the date today?/What was the date yesterday? Ss: It was October 31st yesterday.
It was a special festival. What festival was it? Oh ,Yes ,it’s Halloween .How did you spend it yesterday? How do people spend it in west? Do you know? Now Let’s talk about Halloween today.(展示课题并请学生领读。)[设计意图]引入话题
2. 谈论万圣节话题。
T: Before class, we’ve watched three videos about Halloween. Can you tell me something about Halloween? (课前我们已经观看了三个有关万圣节的视频,你现在了解了哪些有关万圣节的信息?)

When is Halloween? 2.
How do people spend it in west? 3.
What can we do on Halloween? Well, it’s share time. First, you can share in groups.
(S1: It’s on Oct 31st.
S2: Children can get candies. S3: They say, “Trick or treat?”
S4: People can Make a jack-o’-lantern.)
[设计意图]课前教师为学生提供了三段有关万圣节文化背景的视频资料,在这个环节学生可以进行小组同伴间的资料分享. Step2. Presentation. 1. 呈现一段万圣节相关视频,学生进行预设。
T: How do people spend Halloween? Do you know?
Ss: Go shopping/…. Ready for Halloween.(板书) Free talk: Make a jack-o’-lantern/Go shopping/Buy everything for Halloween(decorations) Step3. Decorate the house.(板书)
⑴.T: Ask Ss to decorate the house like this.(教师示范装饰房屋) This/That is a …(板书)
These/Those/ are …(齐读并抽问,练习万圣节相关单词)(板书)
⑵.Describe the house.(Work in 4/6) ⑶.Show the house and share it.(分组展示成果) [设计意图]通过装饰房屋让学生对出现新词,和句子This/That is…
以及These/Those are …进行练习(让学生进行教读,做到词汇学习音、形、义句相结合)。
Step4. Wait for the dark/night.(板书) T:Take out some candies/toast.Ready for trick or treating. Step5. Trick or treating.(活动)(板书)
⑴. Watch the video of trick or treating.(观看动画) ⑵.Dicuss trick or treating. ⑶. Time for trick or treating. (学生分组参与活动)
[设计意图]通过活动让学生亲身感知“不给就捣蛋”的这个环节的乐趣和学会万圣节相关用语并学会运用。
Step6 Watch a scary movie.(板书)
[设计意图]通过此环节让学生感受万圣节的气氛(恐怖)同时也是孩子们过节的一个环节。
Step7. Summary 总结整个过程(评价小组)
Step8 Describe Halloween(Homework)
[设计意图]这个环节是个能力提升的过程,通过学习让学生自己经过体验过万圣节的整个过程后运用所学知识构建成自己的知识。
T: Halloween is a traditional festival in western countries. What do they do on Halloween? Read Page41, Then describe Halloween after class.
