一、教学目标
⒈能听懂、会说新单词Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, today, tomorrow;
⒉能理解并复述本课课文;
⒊能正确表述今天是星期几。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:能正确表述今天是星期几。
难点:掌握新单词。
三、教学准备
一个笑脸面具,一幅日历,一个生日蛋糕,一根蜡烛,一个打火机,单词卡片(Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday),教学挂图,教学音频等。
四、教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up
⒈师生问候。
⒉听学过的英语歌曲。
Step 2 Presentation and drill
⒈出示笑脸面具
T: I’m happy today. Do you know why?
鼓励学生大胆猜测。然后出示插有蜡烛的生日蛋糕。
T: Today is my birthday. (出示标记了当天日期的日历)What day is it today? Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday?

T: Yes, today i s...It’s my birthday.
板书单词Sunday,Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday和birthday,带读。
⒉点燃生日蜡烛。
学生唱生日歌,教师许愿,吹灭蜡烛。
T: I’m so happy today.(出示笑脸面具)Are you happy?
S1: Yes.
T: S1 is happy. Are you happy, s2?
S2: Yes.
T: S2 is happy, too.
⒊出示教学挂图。
T(指图1):Is Peter happy today?
Ss: No.
T: Why? (播放第一段录音)
S: Peter have music class again today.
T: What day is it today?
S: It’s Tuesday.
T(指图2): Is Peter happy today?
S: Yes.
T: Yes. Peter is happy today. (板书句子,带读)Why?(播放第二段录音)

Step 3 Practice
⒈游戏——Quick response(快速反应)
教师说今天星期几,学生快速说出明天星期几;教师说明天星期几,学生说今天星期几,看谁反应快。
T: Today is Monday.
S: Tomorrow is Tuesday.
T: Tomorrow is Friday.
S: Today is Thursday.
⒉游戏——Turntable game(转盘游戏)
请学生上台点击鼠标,其他学生喊停时转到哪个单词,则需要读出这个单词。答出多的小组获胜。
⒊唱英语歌----Days of the week.
Step 4 Consolidation
⒈让学生们抽取星期卡片,讲述Peter的一天。
卡片:WEDNESDAY
S: Today is Wednesday. Peter is happy today. Peter can play football today... ⒉评价。对学生的表现进行评价,给予肯定与鼓励,激发学生说英语的欲望。⒊家庭作业。
1)听录音,背课文,记单词。
2)自制一张星期表,在自己喜欢的那一天画上笑脸,说明理由。
