The analysis of students: The lesson is Section B of Unit 8 of Seventh Grade’s English book, go for it. The language goal is about ordering food. Students have learned some words about food in their primary school, so the topic is familiar. Students are interested in this topic, so they would like to say more about it. Teaching aids: seewo, textbook and handout. Teaching procedures: Step 1 Greetings and have a free talk.

T: In this unit, we are talking about food. We Chinese people study how to make delicious food. Because food is good for people, and man is iron and food is steel, especially for the festivals.

Step 2 Lead in. Talk about Dragon Boat Festival.
