Unit 3 Do you want some rice? 一、教材分析:

本课的教学内容选自湘少版《小学英语》五年级上册Unit 3 Do you want some rice?中的第一课时。本课时的学习内容为课文Part A和Part B,目的在于让学生运用本单元的词汇和句型进行口语交际。涉及的单词有breakfast,lunch,dinner, soup,vegetables,tomato,potato。主要句型是:Do you want some …和Yes,please./ No,thank you. 本节课主要从学生感兴趣的食物出发,鼓励学生积极参与,大胆练习,激发学生学习英语的积极性,提高学生的语言综合运用能力。

二、学情分析:

五年级的学生通过两年的英语学习,已具备了一定的语言基础和良好的口语表达能力,但是不愿开口说的学生还普遍存在。但是小学生喜欢直观形象思维,我上课之前已经调查班上学生对食物和水果的喜好,所以本堂课我应该能较好抓住学生的注意力。 三、教学目标

1,知识与技能

(1)

能听说读写本课时词汇:breakfast,lunch,dinner,soup, vegetables, potato,tomato,并能做到发音准确;

(2)

能熟练运用句型:“Do you want some …?”和“Yes,please./ No,thank you.”;

(3)

熟读课文。

2,过程与方法

(1)通过师生对话、生生对话作为教学的基本过程,让学生掌握听说的基本方法;

(2)采用听说法、任务型活动教学法及创设情景交际法,来激发学生的学习兴趣,通过游戏调动积极性。

3,情感、态度与价值观

(1)通过小组合作来增强学生的合作意识,

(2)通过本课学习,提高学生对蔬菜和水果的认识,帮助养成爱吃蔬菜水果的好习惯。

四、教学重、难点

重点:会读会说新单词

难点:可数名词和不可数名词的运用

课件、食物水果、单词卡片、课文动画等

六、教学过程

Step Ⅰ Preparation

1. Greetings. 2. Have a chant:《水果食物名称》

【设计意图】设计这一环节,只要目的是让学生复习水果食物的名称,激发学生本堂课的学习兴趣。

Step Ⅱ Presentation and drill

1. Teach the new words. (1) T: OK! There are so many food and fruits. Do you like them? As for me ,I want some bread for breakfast, some rice for lunch and dinner.

“lunch” and “dinner”.>

T: Everybody, it’s time for lunch. Do you want some rice? <展示标题> T: What would you like for lunch? S: Chicken/Fish/Eggs/... . T: Look! Wow! So many food and fruits! T: What’s this?

T: It’s a tomato, and they are tomatoes.

(3)T: And what’s this?

T: It’s a potato. They’re potatoes.

(4)T: I like potatoes, and I like vegetables, too . T: Look! Vegetables!

(5)T: I want some vegetables. And I also want some vegetable soup.

(6)Play a game to drill the new words: What’s missing? 【设计意图】我在这一环节尽量用生动形象的图片呈现,刺激学生的大脑皮层,吸引学生的注意力,并多以对话的形式出现新单词,提高学生的参与度。

Learn and practice the sentences “Do you want some …?”和“Yes,please. /No,thank you.”. (1)T: Boys and girls,please guess,do I want some tomatoes?Do you want to know?Look at me!Ask me”Do you want some tomatoes?”(教师双手向上举,做√的姿势,引出“Yes,please.”)

T: Yes,please.I like tomatoes. T: Do I want some potatoes?Look at me!Ask me”Do you want some potatoes?”(教师双手交叉向上举,做×的姿势,引出”No,thank you.”)

(2)T: Now, I need a little teacher to show the pictures, then boys ask, girls answer. (3)Work in pairs. (4)Act in restaurant: T: Now,I’m a salesman,you can get something that you like from me.OK!Come on!

T: Anybody else wants to be a salesman?You can use these useful sentences: A: Good morning! B: Good morning! A: Do you want some...? B: Yes,please./No,thank you. I want some... . A: Here you are. B: Thank you. 【设计意图】我在这里将旧知识整合在新句型里,前面运用直观的肢体语言新授句型,接着巩固句型使,最后创设一个情景让学生大胆自己去尝试,勇敢说出来,使学生能更好的联系实际情况使用所学句型。

Step Ⅲ

listening and Reading 1. Create a situation. T: The children are having lunch in Dongdong’s home. What do they want? Let’s listen carefully.

2. Listen and answer. Does Peter want some rice? What does Dongdog want? 3. Read after the tape. 4. Read after the teacher. 5. Read in different roles. 6. Read together. 【设计意图】让学生带着问题去听课文,一方面可以提高他们的注意力,另一方面使他们的思维更加清晰,从而训练了他们的听力;通过反复听读课文,使学生尽量在课堂上掌握课文。

Step Ⅳ Production 1. Exercises. 2. Make a menu:

T: Boys and girls, vegetables and fruits are good for our health, so we should eat more, an apple a day keeps the doctors away. What do your classmates want to eat? Now ask your classmates,make a healthy and nutritional menu for your classmate. 【设计意图】让学生巩固一节课所学的内容,并学以致用。

Step Ⅴ Homework Make a survey about parents:

father mother rice

apple

vegetables

fish

pork

….

【设计意图】让学生把所学知识运用到生活中,使他们进一步感受到英语语言学习的乐趣!
