Greet Ss and ask Ss ：“Do you like...”

1. (show some pictures of food on the big screen)

Present some new words and expressions to the Ss. 2.Do a game:Challenge Your Memory Ss need to say the new words with some pictures by themselves. Ⅱ. Presentation Now,look at the blackboard.Do you want to get a summer job? If you want,you must finish my four tasks. 1.

Presentation the conversation ( Task 1 ) 

At first,you should go to the supermarket to buy some food.And you can use the conversations:“What kind of food would you like?”“I’d like some...”



There is an arrow.When it points at a picture,you should speak the new word loudly. 

Practice the conversations and learn the usage of sentence“I’d like”

Work on 1a ( Task 2 ) 

Read the words on the left and look at the pictures on the right. Write the letters of the food on the line. Then check the answers. 

Present three specials.

Ⅲ. Listening ( Task 3 ) 

T: In the following conversation, one man is ordering some food. Now, let’s listen to the tape, find out the right noodles the person orders.

Show Ss three specials.Compare the size of these pictures.And then present the phrases the small/medium/large bowl of noodles. 

Do a game: practice the words and phrases the have learned. 

Play the recording for the Ss to listen and check the answers. 

Listen and complete the conversation. Ⅳ. Pair work( Task 4 ) 

Make a model for the Ss

T: What kind of noodles would you like?

S:I’d like ... noodles,please. 

Ss work in pairs and practice the knowledge they have learned.

四. Summary 

Show Ss some pictures of junk food and one fat boy. 

Tell them what they should eat.And lead to the proverbs:“An apple a day, keeps the doctor away.”“Good food is good for our health.”

五. Homework

Make a survery.Ask your classmates what king of noodles they would like. 六. Blackboard Design Unit 10 I’d like some noodles. What kind of noodles would you like? I’d like some... What size would you like? I’d like a small/medium/large bowl of noodles.
