情景导入

Teacher：I know your parents are strict with you.Maybe you have something to say to them.Write down what you want to say to them or what you want them to do for you.You can read your diary to your parents when they are free.Try to communicate with them. 环节说明：在上节课的拓展练习中，学生分组讨论各自的家规，有些同学对家长的严格要求不够理解。老师可以利用这个机会教育学生如何与自己的家长沟通。

1．阅读Zhao Pei的信件，完成3a的任务。(2分钟) Teacher：Is she happy？Let's read the letter and find out the answer.After that，complete Zhao Pei's letter to Dr.Know using have to/must，can or can't.Then make a list about her rules.(Show the photo of Zhao Pei in 3a) 2．让学生讨论各自的家规与校规，谈谈各自的看法并给出理由，完成3b的任务。(3分钟) Teacher：Do you think you are happy at school or at home？What are the things you have to do or you can't do at school or at home? 3．模仿3a中的信件，给Dr.Know写封信，介绍你的家规，并诉说你的烦恼与困惑，完成3c的任务。(5分钟) Teacher：Now，you can write a letter to Dr.Know.Tell him about all the rules in your family and how you feel about them. 4．小结训练。(2分钟)

环节说明：本教学环节环环相扣，循序渐进，先让学生阅读Zhao Pei的信件；然后讨论学生各自的家规，诉说自己的烦恼；最后要求学生给Dr.Know写封信，介绍家规，诉说你的困惑。将阅读、口语与写作训练融为一体，进一步巩固本单元所学的语言基础知识，提高学生的听、说、读、写能力。

Step 4

完成教材Self Check的任务

1．阅读短文，完成第一题。(2分钟) 2．根据提示，用can，can't，have to/must和don't写下校规，完成第二题。(2分钟) 3．小结训练。(2分钟) 环节说明：通过阅读和写作训练，对本单元所学的单词、词组与句子进行归纳、总结，并灵活运用到听、说、读、写的各项训练中，为整个单元的学习画上一个圆满的句号。

这是一节阅读课，本节课的重点是让学生能阅读有关谈论规章的文章并完成练习，在引导学生阅读的过程中，学习重点单词和短语：dirty，kitchen，more，noisy，relax，read，terrible，feel，strict，remember，follow，luck，make one's bed，be strict (with sb.)，follow the rules，too many rules，read a book，good luck，think about，on school nights/days。

以及学会运用重点句型：I must…，I have to…，I can/can't…同时学会阅读的方法——抓关键词。培养阅读能力，建议教师在上阅读课之前，一定要设计好阅读的任务，任务设计好了，学生会在任务的完成中一步一步地达到理想的目标。
