Unit 3 What can you see ? Teaching aims : 1.Students can master the new words and the sentence pattern : The sun ,the moon ,star ,cloud, sky, mountain, river, boat,lake, what can you see ? I can see ….. 2.students can use what can you see? To ask others and use “I can see…..”to answer. Key points: The sun ,the moon ,star ,cloud, sky, mountain, river, boat,lake, what can you see ? I can see ….. Teaching method : listening ,reading ,speaking ,task-based teaching method. Teaching steps: Step1 Warming up 1.

Greetings T:Hello,boys and girls, welcome to our class. How are you today? Ss: I’m fine .Thank you .And you ? T:I’m fine ,too. 2.

Lead-in: T: Well ,everyone, today I bring you something familiar to you .Now look at here, What can you see? Ss: Pen. T: Yes ,Good ,Pen. How to spell it? Ss: P-E-N 教师板书pen ,然后用同样的方法复习以前的单词watch ,ruler.最后带学生齐读单词。

T: Well ,boys and girls, Just now I review some words learnt before. Do you remember what the same question I asked you?(教师板书what can you see?这句话,)

T: Yes ,it is “What can you see?.And it means “你能看到什么?”

教师带读这句话两遍,并通过小组开火车和随机抽取学生的游戏来操练这句话,最后学生齐读掌握这句话的发音和意思。

在此之后,老师导入本堂课的主题Unit 3 What can you see? Step 2 Presentation 1.New words learning The teacher shows pictures about new words and teaches them one by one. T:Look at this one ,What ‘s this ?Do you know? Ss:…

让学生练习读单词,并采用开火车及随机抽测的游戏方式操练。

用同样的方法教授新单词the moon, star(stars),cloud(clouds),sea, boat, lake ,river, mountain. Step 3 Practice

1.The teacher shows the whole new words on the blackboard, and give students three minutes to practice reading the words in groups. 2.The teacher asks some students to read and check the words reading.(老师及时对学生的表现给予评价,并在小组进行相应的加分)。(请2-3个同学)

3.Students read the new words together for two times and remember them . 4.Game: Quick response The teacher shows the pictures ,and students speak it out quickly. Step 4 Consolidation T: Well, boys and girls ,At the beginning of the class ,I asked you the question “What can you see?”你能看到什么? Do you know how to answer it? (学生思考) Let me tell you ,you should answer “I can see…..”

For example, I can a ruler. I can see a book . I can see a watch.

I can see a pen. Ok ,Clear? Ss: Yes, clear. T: You are so clever. Well ,now let’s play a game. Brainstorm 头脑风暴。I give you three minutes to think of some sentences using “I can …” and the new words based on the pictures on the ppt S1:I can see the sun. S2:I can see the moon. S3:I can see a lake . S4:I can see a boat. …… ……. (老师及时对学生的表现进行评价,并进行相应的小组加分) Step5 Learning Part A T: Dongdong ,Lingling ,Peter and Mingming are in the park. What can they see? Ok ,let’s learn Part A (watch the flash of Part A and let students listen it. Two times) 1.

Students work by themselves to translate the sentences in Part A 2.

The teacher checks it one by one. 3.

The teacher shows the meaning of the whole sentences. 4.

Students read the sentence and the meaning after the teacher together. 5.

Students practice reading the passage in groups. Step 6 consolidation 1.

choose one group to read the sentences in front of the class.(教师及时相应评价)

Review the new words and sentences learnt in this class. Step 7 Homework 1.

write the new words for four times . 2.

Recite the words and sentences in Part A,B
