Unit 3
A day in the park 学情分析:
本节课学习对象是四年级英语班的学生。经过牛津英语教材三年的学习时间,学生英语的听、说、读、写能力有了一定的基础,并且对英语也产生了较浓厚的学习兴趣。大部分学生有较好的语言表达能力,在课堂上敢于表达和交流,但他们个性也比较活泼好动,注意力难持久;而少部分学生则性格内向,不善于也也不乐于表达。所以要求老师在课堂上要利用各种手段,充分调动学生的学习积极性,让他们乐于参与课堂。
教材分析:
从教材分析来看,本节课的教学核心内容是掌握9个设施名称,结合所学6个词组正确描述场景活动,并运用can/ can not, must/ must not正确描述标志;三年级3A教材中的Unit 3出现了may和Do not两个表达,重点学习了在公园的signs,而本节课则要重点学习少年宫的设施与signs, 所以从教材编写角度来看,本节课的教学内容是对三年级教学内容的一个拓展与延伸。
教学目标(Teaching Objectives):
1. 语言目标:
(1)掌握词组:book rooms, watch shows, keep quiet, keep clean, smoke, bring pets (2)理解并正确运用can /can not, must /must not. 掌握句型:You can /can not…
You must /must not…
2. 技能目标:
(1)能运用所学词组正确描述场景活动。
(2)能运用can/ can not, must/ must not正确描述标志。
3. 情感目标:
(1)学会细心观察日常生活中出现的标志;
(2)了解遵守规则的重要性,养成遵守规则的好习惯。
教学重难点(Teaching focuses and difficulties):
(1)词组的理解与表达:book rooms, watch shows, keep quiet, keep clean, smoke, bring pets (2)can /can not, must /must not的理解和正确运用。
教学步骤(Teaching Procedures): Step 1 Warm-up
1. Start from a song: I can follow the rules
【设计意图】热身,同时以歌曲的方式激起学生对将要学习的内容的兴趣和知识连结。
Step 2 Lead-in 1. Present some pictures of facilities at a children’s palace, review the names of the facilities. 2. Game: Sharp eyes. 3. Read a notice about things you can do, and things you must/must not do at a children’s palace. 【设计意图】在sharp eyes游戏中回顾、巩固关于设施的单词;通过阅读少年宫的入场须知,导入少年宫的场景和标志。
Step 3 Presentation & Practice 1. Supper mind. Try to remember what Harry and Holly can do in 90 seconds. 【设计意图】在supper mind活动中进一步操练设施单词在句子中的使用,同时,引出并学习句型You can/ can not…
及词组book rooms, watch shows. 2. The sign says. Show students the signs, guide students ask and answer questions about the signs. 【设计意图】学生通过看标志回答问题的方式来学习少年宫标志,学习You must /must not…句型和词组:keep quiet, keep clean, smoke, bring pets. 3. Game: Red light and green light. 4. Look and say. Let students look at some pictures and signs, complete the sentences with the new learned phrases and can/ can not, must/ must not. 【设计意图】通过让学生看图说句子的方式来帮助学生提炼、梳理句型并巩固新学词组和句型。
Step 4 Extention 1. Make sentences. Look at the signs in different places, make sentences like: We_____at a children’s palace / at a park.
【设计意图】学生通过观察不同场景的标志进行造句,进一步操练和巩固所学。
2. Finish the notice. Help Harry and Holly finish the notice about Shanghai Disneyland. 【设计意图】由句子到篇章,让学生在语篇情景中巩固新词组,进一步熟悉新句型。同时,通过补全须知,提高学生遵守规则的意识。
Step 5 Make a summary 1. Sum up the new learned phrases and expressions. 2. Present the sentences: No rules, no fun! Please follow the rules! 【设计意图】回顾,总结本节课所学的新词组和新句型;告诫学生要遵守规则,升华本节课
的主题。
Step 6 Homework 1. Read word building on P35. 2. Use the new learned phrases, can /can not, or must /must not to make sentences.
