IV.Teaching process Step 1Lead in

First play a video about many kinds of animals,then make a dialogue by asking them questions: Do you like animals?What animals have you seen in the zoo?And what's your favorite animal?Why? Step 2Work on 1a-1c

1.学生观察图片，认识更多的动物。教师领读，学生再将动物名称和图片匹配。

2.大声朗读图片中的小对话，提前感知听力内容。

3.认真听录音，将你听到的动物的名称在1a中圈出来，完成课本上1b的听力任务。

4.练习1c中的对话，并请学生表演。

5.模仿1c中的对话，利用1a中的动物和1c中所给的形容词来编写新的对话，两人一组进行练习，并请几组同学表演对话。

A:Let's see the lions. B:Why do you want to see them? A: Because they’re interesting. Language points 1.Let's see the pandas first.我们先看熊猫吧。（教材第25页）

（1）本句是一个祈使句。let’s后接动词原形，其结构为“let’s do sth.”，意为“让我们做某事吧”。表示说话人的建议。常用的肯定答语有“OK./All right./Good idea.”。否定答语可用“Sorry,I…”。

（2）first在这里不是序数词“第一”,而是副词“首先”。

e.g.:Let’s the girls come in first.让女孩子们先进来。

2.why, because的用法

why是特殊疑问副词,用来询问原因。because为连词，意为“因为；由于”，用来引导原因状语从句，或用来回答由why提问的表示原因的特殊疑问句。

e.g.:—Whydoyoulikepandas?你为什么喜欢熊猫? —Becausetheyarecute.因为他们很可爱。
