掌握新单词：动物园 大象 考拉 种类 澳大利亚 宠物 腿 猫 睡觉 2、重点短语： 有几分聪明 我最喜欢的动物 南非 真吓人 来自 3、重点句子：咱们先看老虎吧。 你为什么喜欢它们？ 因为它们非常可爱。 我喜欢这只美丽的长颈鹿。 它们来自哪里？ 这只熊猫来自中国。 Step3: 【合作探究】

1. 各小组相互检查自主学习作业。

1、first “第一”勇“争先”

first可以做副词，也可作序数词。它勇于争“先”，值得我们学习哦！

①做副词，意为“首先，最初”，在句中做状语修饰动词或句子。

②做序数词，意为“第一”，词前常用限定词the。

He is the first boy to get to school. 他是第一个到学校的男孩。

why是疑问副词，意为“为什么”，用来询问原因。常用because来回答。

Because they are cute/boring. 因为它们很可爱/讨厌。

温馨提示：because引导的原因状语从句不能和so连用。在汉语中常说“因为……所以……”，但是在英语中because和so只用其一。

3、“聪明”大比拼

cute, clever和smart都有“聪明的”意思，而且都是形容词，它们有什么不同？

cute意为“聪明的，伶俐的，惹人喜爱的”常用于口语中，同义词clever，在口

语中通用。但cute多指动物的聪明可爱。

clever意为“聪明的”，主要指人或动物的脑子灵活，理解事物快。

smart意为“聪明的”，可以指人或动物，与clever同义。smart还表示潇洒时髦。

①kind做名词时意为“种类，类型”是可数名词。常用短语
