二、Teaching Important and Difficult Points: 1. Teaching Important Points:

1).The vocabulary and useful expressions.

2).Learn to talk about the weather using the target language.

3). Review of the Present continuous Tense. 2.Teaching Difficult Points: (1)The rules of Nouns deformation adjectives. sun-sunny, rain-rainy, wind-windy, cloud-cloudy, snow-snowy。

五、Teaching Procedures: Step1 Lead-in：

Show some sign pictures of different weather.(sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, windy）

Step2 Presentation

1.Ask students to say a weather condition for each picture. And teach weather vocabulary.（Say a weather condition for each picture. And learn weather vocabulary.）

2.Lead in the target language by asking “How’s the weather in …?

/ What’s the weather like in…?”（Students answer questions.）

Step3 Exploration

1.Have Ss watch some nouns and find out how to change into adjectives. Summarize rules. wind +y-----windy

2. Have Ss explore some language points. Students discuss and summarize. Step 4
