一、教材分析

本单元承接 Unit 6 I’ m watching TV 用现在进行时来描述人们的即时活动，通过学习本单元关于天气的词汇和句型，学生能够用英语谈论有关天气的日常活动，并且加深对现在进行时的理解。鉴于此，本课的学习内容在初中英语学习中占有非常重要的地位。

二、教学目标

（1）知识目标

a.学生能够掌握以下单词: visit、 Canada、summer、vacation、hard、 Europe、mountain、 country. b.谈论天气，运用现在进行时态描述在各种天气背景下

人们的活动。

（2）能力目标: 培养学生的阅读能力。

（3）情感、态度与价值观目标: 让学生了解不同地方的天气是不一样的，并且热爱我们美丽的地球。

三、教学重难点

（1）教学重点

a. 描述在不同的天气情况下人们正在做的事情。

b. 阅读短文，提高获取相关信息的能力。

（2）教学难点：提高学生的阅读理解能力。

四、学情分析

初一的学生活泼好动，求知欲强, 并且课堂气氛活跃，回答问题积极，好多同学还是愿意开口说英语。

五、教学方法

根据本文内容，结合创新教育理论，本课主要采用合作探究法、任务型教学法。

六、学习方法

在本节课的教学中，我将引导学生使用自主、合作、探究的学习方式。

七、教学过程

Step 1：Lead-in Listen to an English song “Rhythm of the Rain”

and answer two questions: 1. How is the weather in the MV ? 2. What is he doing? Then,Look at the pictures of 2a and practice the dialogues in pairs. 1. How is the weather in picture? 2. What is he doing? Step 2：Self study Words and expressions：soon、vacation、hard、mountain、

country、visit、summer、sit、juice. Step 3：Cooperation and show 这一环节采用速读和精读学习方法，速读培养学生快速捕捉信息的习惯;精读要求学生从细节处把握文章。

（1）Quickly reading Read the two passages quickly to match each postcard below with the correct picture in 2b. （2）Careful reading Read the first postcard carefully and answer the questions. a.Where is Su Lin now? ____________________ b. 根据she is working here.再度引导学生分析现在进行时的结构。并通过it’s raining引导学生尝试描述天气。同时在本节课当中，work 、sit、by、hard的用法也会着重强调。
